Family Fun at the Pools

“Traveled with two children under 10, and they had a blast going to all of the pools. One pool features fun water slides, which kept them entertained, though it's best to pay attention to their hours of operation. Another pool was shallow at 3 feet—perfect for the kids to play and splash around. There was also a larger pool where they enjoyed jumping in. Nights were extra special with music, and the Friday night fireworks were a highlight! Overall, it was a great experience for the whole family.” view full review

We particularly enjoyed the waffle French fries w/ranch dressing at the Tapa bar—an absolute hit with the kids! Plus, the stand selling smoothies and acai bowls was a refreshing treat. “During my stay, I found the rooms to be very spacious and comfortable. Even though they were a bit older, they provided comfortable amenities. I appreciated having a great view across the lagoon, creating a picturesque setting for my mornings. “The spa amenities offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation. I found the fitness center to be large and well-equipped, with upgraded cardio machines and weight training. I recently stayed at this hotel and while the activities and family-friendly environment are excellent, I found the dining experience to be overpriced and lacking options. The rooms, particularly in the older towers, showed signs of wear and were quite noisy, which detracted from my overall comfort. The pools were enjoyable, but a bit overcrowded at times. It’s a decent spot for families, but be prepared for some challenges with room quality and dining costs.

The rooms in the Rainbow Tower felt quite old and noisy, with dated decor reminiscent of the 1980s. The a/c dripped water on the lanai when sitting outside, which was disappointing.

The service was decent, and I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in getting us settled in the same tower. However, there were times when it was hard to reach someone at the front desk.

The resort is well-placed with beautiful landscaping featuring rock waterfalls and fish ponds, plus it’s convenient for exploring nearby shopping and dining.

Dining was very disappointing with inflated prices; breakfast often costs between $200 and $250. The quality did not match the price.
